Why Pivot to Green?

Updated: Feb 10, 2020

The world needs our attention. There are a huge number of issues in our environment that have been caused by unsustainable business practices.

Whether or not you believe in climate change, there is too much pollution from fossil fuels.

The argument that there is too much plastic in our environment and ocean has already been conceded.

We’re dumping too much to landfill.

Too much packaging.

Too much waste.

Too much pollution.

This is why the team at Blue Frog have decided to pivot our marketing help to organisations who want to make a difference. No matter how small, everyone can do something.

That old saying ‘many hands make light work’ comes to mind.

Personally, we still have a way to go. Each one of us.

And as a business owner, with a degree in environmental science and land management I have always felt a strong pull towards the environment.

Over the years, we’ve sponsored the BLUE FROGS at Taronga Zoo. We’ve reduced our carbon footprint with sustainable energy choices. Reduced travel with a home office. Sponsored 4Ocean and many other groups.

And now we’re aiming for complete alignment.

Work with sustainable companies, support sustainable projects, pivot to sustainable business operations.

And linking clients to donations that support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, starting with protecting ten square metres of rainforest for every new client, every month.

That’s why our pivot to green? It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen.

What about you?
